Frequently asked

How long does it take to onboard a new community?
A pilot community can be up and running in about a week. We register your entity, deploy the WhatsApp bot to your group, and walk your admin through the bot commands. The first attestation typically happens within 48 hours of bot deployment. The full pilot (3 months of consistent attestation) takes about 90 days to reach the data threshold most funders want to see.
Does the community need to hold a wallet or buy crypto?
No. The bot holds a delegated signing key. Community members interact only via WhatsApp or Telegram — they type a message describing what happened, the bot confirms, and the attestation is written. The community never sees a wallet address, signs a transaction, or pays a gas fee. The gas is sponsored by the protocol's paymaster.
What languages does the bot support?
On day one: Somali, English, and Spanish. The bot can parse natural-language session descriptions in any of these three languages and produces the same structured attestation. We're actively working on Portuguese and Tagalog for the next release. Custom locales can be added per pilot.
Can I use PRUEBA's data in a grant application?
Yes — that's the entire point. Every attestation has a public Basescan link and an EAS Scan page. You can include these directly in grant applications, and any reviewer can verify the data on-chain without needing to use our UI. For bulk export, our API at api.pruebaprotocol.org returns paginated JSON.
Is PRUEBA only for sports?
No — the protocol is general-purpose, the schema registry is open, and any community can register a new schema. We're piloting with sports clubs because that's the AIFS network, but the same primitives work for mutual aid networks, repair cafes, climate action groups, and local DAOs. Repair Cafe London is in the network today; Climate Stewards SP is next.
How is PRUEBA different from POAP or Snapshot?
POAP issues NFT badges to attendees (requires a wallet). Snapshot is for token-weighted governance votes (requires tokens). PRUEBA is for activity and decisions that happen without wallets, without tokens, and often without English — and the resulting attestations are designed to be legible to funders, not just to crypto-native audiences.
